Finance Magnates has learned of two executive moves in BDSwiss: one promotion and one departure from the brokerage. George Papasavva has been promoted to Senior Account and Business Development Manager, while Costa Joannides has left the firm, where he has been working as Head of Business Development.
On the one hand, prior to his promotion at BDSwiss, Papasavva was a Senior Account Manager in charge of VIP Clients Retention for over three years. Before joining the broker, he worked as a Representative for WorldVentures Holdings. Also, he was employed by Hoch Capital as a Senior Account Manager.
In AEL Limassol FC, he served as the Academy Rehabilitation Manager between 2015 and 2017. According to his educational background, he has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Brighton. additionally, he holds a Masters in Sports Management and Legal Skills from ISDE.
Joannides' Departure
In contrast, Joannides published the following comment on his LinkedIn profile: “It has been an absolute pleasure being part of BDSwiss for so long. However, the time has come for us to go our separate ways. So many memories that will live with me forever and make me wiser in my future decisions. Thank you to my teams for always making every day interesting and entertaining. I wish the company and my colleagues success for the future.”
He has been working at BDSwiss since January 2017 as Head of Business Development and before joining the company, he was the Head of Institutional Sales at AAATrade between August 2016 and January 2017. Also, he fulfilled his role as the Head of Training for Option Rally and was employed by IronFX for nearly three years, first as Head of Customer Support and then as Head of Training.
Prior to joining IronFX, he took on the responsibilities of Sales Officer for FX Global Markets Ltd (FXGM) and also as the Customer Relations Officer at HSBC. Joannides holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Nottingham Trent University.
