Dan McNicholas Appointed Capital Introductions Head for Nomura Holdings

Japanese Investment bank, Nomura Holdings Inc, has appointed the prime broking industry veteran, Dan McNicholas, as its newest APAC head of capital introductions. His appointment was effective from the 19th of December 2016, according to a recent Reuters report.

McNicholas joins Japan's largest brokerage from State Street where he served as head of sales for its alternative investment servicing business in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this position, he worked with Bank of America Corp as head of financing sales in the APAC region. His resume also boasts stints at Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers.

McNicholas will be stationed in Hong Kong and report to Chris Antonelli, the global head of prime finance. In his new role, he will lead a team linking potential investors with Asian hedge funds.

Nomura also said Sean McDonough joined the equity sales trading team in Hong Kong.
