Deutsche Bank has recruited Jeff Urwin as its newest co-head of Corporate Banking & Securities and Head of Corporate Finance β the appointment will also see him added as a member of the Group Executive Committee.
In his new role as the co-head of Banking & Securities, Mr. Urwin will be based out of New York, here he will be working alongside Colin Fan, Deutsche Bankβs co-head of Corporate Banking & Securities and Head of Markets.
Mr. Urwin will be succeeding Robert Rankin, who parted ways with Deutsche Bank earlier this year. Mr. Urwin will be reporting to Anshu Jain, co-chief executive officer of Deutsche Bank.
He joins Deutsche Bank from JPMorgan, having worked there since 2008 β which was preceded by Bear Stearns since 1996. During his time at JPMorgan he served as the co-head of Global Banking.
According to Anshu Jain, co-chief executive officer of Deutsche Bank in a recent statement on the appointment, "I am pleased to welcome Jeff to Deutsche Bank.
