Dewi Walters Becomes Head of Reward at IG

In a LinkedIn post on Friday, Dewi Walters, an experienced reward professional with broad experience in the financial services industry, announced that he is starting a new position at IG, one of the leading financial trading services providers, as Head of Reward.

Walters has been a part of the IG Group for more than seven years. Before starting the position as Head of Reward, he served as the Senior Reward Manager. During his time at IG, Walters worked in different key positions and facilitated the company's expansion.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Reward at IG Group,” Walters confirmed in a post on 1st July 2022. He expressed his excitement and happiness regarding the new role and received appreciation from colleagues and other professionals in the financial services industry.

Previous Experience

Walters has a strong presence in the regional financial services sector. Before joining IG Group, he was working with Deloitte, a global professional services network, as the employment tax manager. He served the company for more than six years. Prior to that, he worked with GSK as Medicinal Chemist. He was part of the company for more than two years.

Walters has a good understanding of employment taxes. He has experience in expatriate management, employment status, share plans, benefits and expenses, P11Ds and PSAs. He completed his Master of Science (MSc) focused in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.

In February 2022, IG Group onboarded Barbara Duffy as the company’s new Chief People Officer.
