DMALINK Appoints Malkeet Sokhi as Non-Executive Director

DMALINK, a provider of institutional FX trading services, has lured Malkeet Sokhi to join its board as a non-executive director, Finance Magnates has learned.

DMALINK’s latest hire represents one of the group’s most senior additions to date. Mr Sokhi brings two-decades of experience as well as a wide network of connections across financial markets, technical product knowledge, and management skillsets in addition to his industry insights.

Malkeet’s most recent executive role was leading the integration of the Mizuho Capital Markets derivatives trading business with Mizuho International Bank in EMEA. Additionally, he worked as a Program Manager at leading financial institutions, including Grant Thornton LLP and ANZ.

Malkeet held his most prominent role in the FX industry back in 2014 when he was appointed as a Program Manager for HSBC’s FX and FX options trading unit. In this role, he managed a large growth initiative across the UK lender’s FX Cash and FX options trading, algo trading and e-trading. Moreover, Mr Sokhi worked on the OTC derivatives review regulatory project to assess interest rate derivatives sold to retail corporate clients since 2002.

Additional stops include leading strategy, Risk Management , and regulatory-compliance at a consulting firm, part of a career that dates back to 1998, mostly based in London.
