Equiti Group, a leading global financial services provider, recently announced the appointment of Waleed Saleh, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in market research, as its Global Head of Market Research.
In an official announcement shared with Finance Magnates, Equiti mentioned that its new Market Research unit has been established to facilitate the company’s global growth and expansion initiatives. In his new role, Saleh will collaborate with different entities of Equiti Group to conduct efficient market research into new markets.
Equiti aims to utilize the extensive experience of Saleh to understand market trends and the needs of the company’s existing and potential clients.
Commenting on the recent appointment, Iskandar Najjar, CEO of Equiti Group, said: “A client-driven approach is a key to delivering insights that reflect the state of the local markets. Understanding the needs and experiences of local markets will help our development, product and technology teams drive the design of new innovations and customize our global product offerings to make them locally relevant. This will give Equiti a leading advantage in new markets, and importantly, provide a superior experience for our clients.”
“Innovation with our local partners is key to the provision of relevant localized product offerings, systems, payment methods, service and client support, as well as using local channels of communication. With Waleed’s vast market research experience, and a global reputation for being an innovative and thorough market researcher, we are very pleased to have him lead this critical new function at Equiti Group,” Najjar added.
The latest announcement from Equiti came nearly three weeks after the financial services provider announced the appointment of Chantelle Johnson as Group Chief Marketing Officer.
