E*Trade Financial Corp (NASDAQ:ETFC) is slated to lose its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Matthew Audette, who announced that he is parting ways with the company, according to an E*Trade statement.

Mr. Audette will be leaving E*Trade to assume the role of CFO at brokerage firm LPL Financial Holdings Inc. Despite the move, E*Trade has already taken steps to fill the void, by having its Chief Risk Officer, Michael Pizzi, assume control of its finance department later this month on June 15, 2015.

Mr. Audette served as E*Trade’s CFO since early 2011 – in his new role as the CFO of LPL Financial, he will maintain a sphere of influence across the group’s national operations, across such cities as Boston, Charlotte, N.C. and San Diego.

Alternatively, Mr. Pizzi has yet to give a concrete plan on how he will be utilizing E*Trade’s stock buybacks, dividends and capital investments, revealing only that capital deployment was his top priority.
