Financial services veteran, Andrew Woolley has joined ETX Capital from Moneycorp, who steps into the role of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) with immediate effect, according to information made public on his LinkedIn profile.

In his new role as CFO of ETX Capital, Mr. Woolley will be based out of London. He has garnered extensive experience across the financial services industry, with specialties in foreign Exchange (FX), cross border Payments , and capital markets, among others.

Prior to joining ETX, Mr. Woolley served as the Managing Director of Moneycorp International payments division as well as the Director of TTT Moneycorp Limited. Additional stops include a five-year stint at Travelex as its CFO, as well as other senior level roles at Hays, BPB, and Price Waterhouse Coopers, dating back to 1987.

The appointment of Mr. Woolley follows on the heels of ETX’s recruitment of several industry leaders – this includes the addition of 20 new staff members earlier this year in a bid to support the growth in London and in the firm’s technology center in Hemel Hempstead, several of which at Alpari UK. Back in March, ETX Capital purchased Alpari UK’s client list, which also coincided with the augmentation of its staff in the aftermath of the deal.
