Eurex Clearing, a leading central counterparty clearing (CCP) and part of the Eurex Group, announced this Tuesday that it has added Katja Renner to its Fixed Income Funding & Financing Sales team.
In her new position, Renner will be based in London and will primarily cover sell-side clients in the United Kingdom, the statement released today said. In order to achieve this, she can Leverage her more than two decades worth of experience in the funding and financing industry.

Before joining Eurex Clearing, Renner was working as a consultant on financing, Liquidity , and collateral management in London. In this role, she consulted on product and business development from an equity finance-funding perspective, her LinkedIn states.
Prior to this, she worked at Squawker, a financial technology firm which provides multi-asset trading solutions to help trading companies find liquidity and negotiate and execute trades. Here she was employed from October 2015 until July 2016 in an Equity Finance-Funding role.
Katja Renner Spent 11 Years at Citi
Takin up most of Renner's career was her time at Citigroup, where she worked for almost 12 years from 2002 until 2014. At the multinational firm, Renner was the Vice President of Equity Finance Funding.
At Citi, Renner was responsible for liquidity management for the Prime Brokerage and in this role, undertook various projects to improve collateral rehypothecation for the unit. This included the systematic classification of assets and the automation of collateral grading, her LinkedIn states.
Before her tenure at Citi, Renner worked in fixed income and equity repo, stock loan sales and trading at LBBW where she was the Assistant Vice President. In this position, she focused on product and business development, coordinated marketing activities and covered multinational corporate clients and banks from a securities lending/repo perspective.
During her career, Renner has also been a Junior trader at BW-Bank in Germany.
