Eurex Clearing AG’s supervisory board has added Susanne Clemenz as its newest member, filling a key vacancy on the group’s twelve-member board, according to a Eurex statement.

Ms. Clemenz is the founding partner of T/S/C Fachanwälte für Arbeitsrecht, a law firm specialising in labor law, who specializes in contract law, organizational restructuring, and strategic personnel Risk Management .

In addition to the post on Eurex’s board, she sits on the legislative committee of the German Bar Association, having overseen labor law legislation at the federal level since 2010.

According to Hugo Bänziger, chairman of the supervisory board in a recent statement on the appointment, “We are delighted with the appointment of Susanne Clemenz. Her knowledge and experience in the areas of personnel and compensation will add to the supervisory board’s expertise. These topics have gained importance recently.

“With her appointment, we have also enhanced the board’s diversity and achieved our goal of increasing the share of women on the board to one fourth,” he added.
