Ex-Barclays FX Head, Christophe Gioffredo Joins UBS

Former Barclays Head of FX Sales, Christophe Gioffredo, has reportedly joined UBS in a hedge fund sales related role, following nearly a decade at Barclays and a brief hiatus from the markets since June.

Earlier this month, UBS appointed a new global head of FX options. In his new role at UBS, Mr. Gioffredo will be based out of London where he will report to Michael Bichan, Head of Currency Distribution in the UK.

Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Gioffredo worked in FX sales for France, Belgium, and Luxembourg at Barclays. Before this he also worked in a variety of senior roles at Goldman Sachs.
