  • Canadian cloud-based automated trading technology company Embium yesterday announced the appointment of Ex-SunGard executive Janice Robson as Chief Executive Officer with the remit of expanding the business.

An encouraging corporate direction within large financial technology firms is the number of ladies in senior positions. Yesterday, Canadian automated trading technology company Embium appointed Janice Robson as CEO, charged with the responsibility of expanding the company’s growth.

Upon assuming this leadership role, Ms. Robson brings with her significant sales and critical strategy experience as the firm sets its sights on expansion to new markets and new industry sectors.

Dr. Peter Metford, Embium’s founder and Chief Technology Officer made a statement on the company’s behalf welcoming Ms. Robson’s posting at the head of the firm: ““Janice's unique blend of sales, technology, computational mathematics and energy make her the perfect fit for Embium’s ambitious vision and objectives,” he said.
