Forte Securities, a provider of Execution and prime brokerage services, has added its newest senior hire, appointing foreign Exchange and options trading veteran Dan Hanson, Finance Magnates has learned.
In his new role at Forte Securities, Mr. Hanson will be added to the group’s already deep FX sales team, where he will specialize in the Emerging Markets (EM) and FX derivatives realms. In this capacity, he will be teaming up with FX spot trading standout Beat Nussbaumer, along with Alex Vanderlip. He will be based out of London.
Prior to joining Forte Securities, Mr. Hanson worked at Citibank in its FX Options trading desk – he parted ways with the group back in July. He originally joined Citigroup back in 2014, having focused the bulk of his career on FX options.
While at Citigroup, he garnered a focused in EM, cultivating a proficiency in G-10 currencies as well as in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) space. Additional stops also include from Standard Chartered, Merrill Lynch, and Barclays.
