Following his departure from FXall and Thomson Reuters, ex-FX Chief James Watson has landed at Pioneer Trader Ltd, where he will take over as the Managing Director.

Pioneer Trader Ltd (PTL) is authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and specializes in Forex , commodities, CFDs and futures, among other instruments. PTL effectively acts as an introducing broker to Abu Dhabi-based ADS Securities – ADS’ parent company maintains a majority stake in PTL.

Mr. Watson joins Pioneer Trader Ltd from Thomson Reuters and FXall, where he served as the Head of FX Transactions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Prior to those positions, Mr. Watson held various senior level positions at Morgan Stanley (Executive Director) and Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (Head of Electronic and Execution Sales). In his new role, Mr. Watson will focus on developing market shares and fostering a more robust product range across several asset classes including Forex.
