The Financial Commission (FinaCom PLC) has brought in Shay Benhamou, the CEO of multi-asset trading technology provider Airsoft, to join the independent regulator as the newest member of its Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC).

Benhamou joins the Financial Commission during a time of expansion for the self-regulatory association. The commission recently added several new members to its existing roster, including his company Airsoft, which was added as an approved service provider to the commission’s partner section.

In addition to providing dispute resolution and certification services to the participants of the forex and derivatives markets, the Financial Commission recently extended its coverage to the crypto community and Blockchain startups seeking to launch initial coin offerings (ICOs).

Benhamou has been involved in the financial services industry for nearly two decades with a wide range of roles held in leading positions. He has been leading AirSoft as CEO since 2015. Prior to that, he worked for over six years as a senior director at prime brokerage platform Camalia Capital Markets, which was also the exclusive representative ‎of Societe Generale in Israel.
