FINRA Promotes Jonathan Sokobin to be Its New Executive VP

FINRA recently announced that it has elevated Jonathan Sokobin to be its new Executive Vice President and Head of the new office in charge of Regulatory Economics and Market Analysis (REMA).

Published in a press release and identified by Finance Magnates, Jonathan Sokobin has been promoted by FINRA to the rank of Executive Vice President and Head of Regulatory Economics and Market Analysis.

Sokobin will continue as the Chief Economist and as a member of its management committee. Additionally, he will report to the President and CEO of FINRA, Robert Cook.

Camilla Boldracchi Moves to Institutional Sales at CMC Markets

Camilla Boldracchi's ascent within CMC Markets has continued following the announcement of her promotion to Institutional Sales.

Announced on her LinkedIn page on Thursday, Boldracchi has taken up the position, having previously served as the Head of International Relationship Management (EMEA), which is a position she held at the London-based broker for just over a year.

Regtech Firm NOTO Elevates Hristian Drensky as Strategy and Partnerships VP

NOTO has promoted Hristian Drensky as the Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships. He joined the company in July 2019 and was previously the Head of Strategy and Partnerships.

Founded in 2015, NOTO provides an enterprise-grade solution to address all financial crime threats. It offers solutions and services around anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud detention for companies in several industries, including banking, cryptocurrency, fintech, gaming and payment processing.

LSEG Hires Paul Beatty as Director of Bank Relationships (Capital Markets)

The London Stock Exchange Group (LON: LSEG) has hired Paul Beatty Jr. as the Director of Bank Relationships for Capital Markets. According to his Linkedin profile, he is based in New York and took on the role earlier this month.

Beatty describes himself as an "accomplished, result-oriented Senior Sales Executive with a proven ability to lead, develop, and manage sales teams." He worked with several financial services giants over his long career in the industry.

Liquidity.net Promotes Tim Rudland to Head of Institutional Trading

Liquidity.net has promoted Tim Rudland who was previously its Liquidity Manager to Head of Institutional Trading. Rudland fulfilled his previous duty for a year and one month from November 2021.

Rudland, whose role is based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, announced his promotion on Monday on LinkedIn. The executive has about 20 years of trading and institutional sales experience in mostly London-based roles.
