FintechOS announced that it has named Iain Chidgey as its new Chief Revenue Officer, effective from November 2021.

According to a press release shared with Finance Magnates, Iain Chidgey, a financial executive veteran with more than twenty-five years of experience, has been appointed by FintechOS, a technology provider for banks, insurers, credit unions and other financial service companies, as its new Chief Revenue Officer.

Chidgey brings deep field operational experience from enterprise software companies focused on security, compliance , database and infrastructure solutions. The appointment itself is considered by FintechOS as instrumental in its development as it moves forward.

The new Chief Revenue Officer was hired alongside three other new executives. Though, this news comes as the organisation continues to grow and follows its Series B funding round made earlier in the year and its expansion into the US.

A Glance at Chidgey’s Career

Prior to Chidgey joining the ranks of FintechOS, he served Sumo Logic as its VP and General Manager EMEA. For just over two years, he oversaw new sources of operations, security and compliance among many other duties. Additionally, he served at JASK (now Sumo Logic) in a similar role of VP and General Manager International for a short period before it was taken over.

Before that, Delphix benefitted from his experience as a VP and General Manager International for around seven and a half years. He worked with many high calibre brands including Fidelity, JPMC, AllState, StubHub, Silicon Valley Bank and Fannie Mae.

Moreover, ArcSight recruited Chidgey in April 2004 as its VP and General Manager EMEA. Over the course of almost eight years, he assisted in leading the compliance and security management solutions provider to protect enterprises and government agencies. In November 1996, he joined Portal Software as the Director of Northern Europe Sales. He spent more than five years at the company and was based in London.

Chudgey’s earliest known position was in sales at Oracle back in April 1991. He commuted between the San Francisco Bay area and the UK for more than five years.

Other Significant Hires Made by FintechOS

FintechOS made three other significant appointments in addition to Chidgey. Márcio Spínola was appointed as SVP of Product Management from Vision-Box. He spent around a decade in product roles and has extensive experience with building companies into leaders in the low-code space. Further, Matt Brook, the new SVP of Customer Success, has more than twenty years of experience in the world of IT delivery in consulting and outsourcing environments across major sectors. Finally, Mike Fullalove, the SVP of Strategy and Business Development brings seventeen years of experience as an entrepreneur, advisor and investor. He will work closely with the rest of the executive team to ensure the smooth execution of FintechOS’ development and growth plans.

These new hires come as FintechOS recently released its newest platform update, FintechOS 22. The update will allow institutions to modernize legacy systems and launch new, differentiated digital products more effectively and efficiently.

Commenting on the announcement, Chidgey stated: “The financial services space is going through an exciting phase where collaboration is the new competition. Partnerships and technological advancements are driving innovation, and FintechOS is at the heart of this. I look forward to working with two great founders in Teo Blidarus and Sergiu Negut and the very talented FintechOS Team.”
