In his new role as the President of Billing and Payments Group, Mr. McGranahan will be succeeding Rahul Gupta, who is parting ways with Fiserv after more than a decade – the transition is slated for November 1, 2016. Despite the move however, Mr. Gupta will assist in the transition process for the duration of 2016.

For his part, Mr. McGranahan joins Fiserv with over two decades of experience across the financial services sector, having dealt primarily with payments and business related venues for the majority of his career. He comes to Fiserv from McKinsey and Company, having worked at the group for over 24 years.

He most recently held the role of Senior Partner and Director at McKinsey and Company, whilst previously working as its Associate Partner, Engagement Manager, Associate and originally a Business Analyst, dating back to 1992, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.

According to Jeffery Yabuki, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fiserv, in a recent statement on the hire, "Devin brings unique perspective to Fiserv. As part of his role at McKinsey he worked closely with our organization over the past decade, and also advised multiple companies, many of which are Fiserv clients, on navigating the transformation of financial services. His proven strategic leadership in financial services makes him a strong addition to the Fiserv team."
