Former 360T Executive Jason Young Joins Amazon Currency Converter

Financial technology professional Jason Young has become Senior Product Manager at Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers this month, according to market sources.

Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers is an optional service that allows Amazon sellers to receive the proceeds of their earnings into their local bank account if that account is located in a different country or region from the marketplace on which they are selling.

Young brings extensive knowledge in financial trading products and related Trading Platform technology to his new position. His integrated skill set includes product development, strategy, and planning, general management, project management, sales, and revenue growth.

Prior to taking up his new role, Young was Head of Institutional FX at Silicon Valley-headquartered FX trading platform Fortex.

In this role, he was responsible for building the company’s institutional FX ECN business and expanding Fortex’ existing offering to cater to a new client segment. He also managed Liquidity provider relationships, a spokesperson for Fortex revealed at the time.

Integral, 360T and MUFG

Young’s career began as a Business Analyst at Integral in 2007.

One year later, he became Head of Client Serices, Americas, at Deutsche Boerse owned multi-bank, multi-asset trading platform for over-the-counter (OTC) and listed financial instruments, 360T in the firm’s New York office. He held this role for six years.

Before joining Fortex in 2016, Young was Vice President eFX Trading at Tokyo-headquartered Mitsubishi UFJ (MUFG) for almost two years.
