New Challenges Ahead
After obtaining an extensive financial background throughout his career, Mr. Picken now turns his efforts toward his new post as State Director at National Australia Bank. He will undertake his newly acquired responsibilities, applying his financial knowledge and expertise garnered over the years.
In the midst of the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin boom, the National Australia Bank has been wary about the risk levels of the industry. In 2014, the financial institution began to close the accounts of individuals trading in Bitcoin. It will be interesting to see how Mr. Picken views the cryptocurrency market as an investment avenue, and whether he will influence the legality of crypto trading in the country.
