Wellington-based online broker Fullerton Markets today announced that Paul Turner has been appointed as Senior Compliance Manager, according to an official company statement.
Mr.Turner joins the firm’s New Zealand operations after gaining more than 40 years of experience in accounting, including with a national firm, as described in the update.
Accounting expert
Mr. Turner worked in the film and television industry for a five-year period in the 1980s and then in the following decade established an accountancy firm which later became part of MTM Accounting in Wellington.
As part of his new role, Mr. Turner will primarily be involved in accounting, tax advice, and the establishment of business structures and compliance.

His role will include maintenance of regulatory requirements and provision of business compliance advisory support, according to a description from Fullerton Markets regarding the new hire.

Commenting in a corporate statement, Fullerton Markets CEO Mario Singh said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul into our growing family. Having Paul on board will further strengthen our resolve to become a top player in the margin industry in the next few years.”
The news follows after Finance Magnates reported on Fullerton Markets' hiring of Damian O'Brien as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in May, and as the firm's CEO subsequently debuted a Chinese version of his book 'Unlocking the World's Largest Financial Secrets' in China earlier this month.
