Fullerton Markets announced on Tuesday the appointment of Rahul Sodhy as the retail forex and CFDs broker’s new Chief Executive Officer. He is an industry veteran with 15 years of experience in the trading sector and 23 years overall.
“It's an absolute honour to head the talented team at Fullerton Markets,” Sodhy said in a statement. “I've seen the company grow from strength to strength over the years, and I'm really excited to lead us even further into the future as a world-class multi-asset brokerage.”
Indeed, the broker has expanded to a number of business verticals in the past few months. It partnered with Mastercard last year to launch a prepaid card and expanded its offerings.
Registered and licensed in Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, the broker mostly operates from Singapore and focuses on the Asian markets. To enhance its brand awareness, the broker became the sponsor of MiTH, a prominent esports team in Southeast Asia.
Industry Experience
Sodhy joined the offshore broker after spending significant time in executive roles in the industry. Previously, he worked at Pinnacle Asset Management, but his most prominent industry experience is with FXPrimus, where he worked between 2009 and 2016 as Vice President. There, he even built partnerships all over Asia.
Commenting on Sodhy’s appointment, Fullerton’s Founder and Non-Executive Chairman, Mario Singh said: “Our winning culture revolves around passion, excellence, commitment, sustainability, speed and service. When it comes to sustainability, leadership renewal is important so that fresh ideas can be implemented. I am beyond excited to have Rahul lead us bigger and stronger on the global stage.”
