Fullerton Markets, one of the fastest growing brokerages in the Far East, is adding a new member to its team. Former Bloomberg strategist Jimmy Zhu is joining the company after spending almost three years with his previous employer.
Fullerton Markets was founded by trading coach Mario Singh and started operating in April last year. Since then the firm has been actively growing its client base and expanding its services. The company also acquired trading education firm FX1 International back in January.
Jimmy Zhu already has experience working at a retail broker, having been employed by FXPRIMUS in its Singapore office between 2012 and 2014.
Mr Zhu will be serving as Chief Strategist at Fullerton Markets after analyzing vast amounts of data while tracking Forex and fixed income at Bloomberg.
Commeting on the hire, Singh said: "I am delighted to welcome Jimmy to our dynamic team. His experience at Bloomberg will add great value to our clients who need a wide range of analysis in both the fundamental and technical arenas."
Zhu will be providing research on global economic data and writing analytical reports for clients of the company. He will also be delivering a weekly technical analysis across the most popular instruments amongst traders.
"I have been very impressed with how Fullerton Markets has grown so substantially in their first year of business. I certainly see a lot of potential in how the company will scale new heights over the next few years," Mr Zhu commented on his appointment.
