FXJET, a Forex and CFD broker based in Cyprus, has appointed Stavros Flangofas as its Head of Dealing, Finance Magnates has learned. According to information on his LinkedIn, Flangofas joined the European broker this month.
Flangofas is a professional in the forex industry with an emphasis on FX dealing. During his career, he has worked at a number of brokers in their Cyprus-based operations. Most recently, he worked at Capital Index, a global online brokerage specializing in CFDs, Financial Spread Betting and Spread Trading.

Here he worked for the firm for slightly less than four years, joining in December 2014 and ending his employment with the company in September of this year. While at the firm, Flangofas was a Director and Head of Brokerage Department.
Prior to this, Flangofas was employed at FxPro Group. Originally, he joined the online broker in October 2012 as a Forex Dealer based in Cyprus. He held this position for just under two years before moving on to be a Supervisor Dealer with the firm in June 2014 until November the same year.

According to his LinkedIn, Flangofas started off his career in the forex industry in 2010. The first company he worked for in the industry was Online Capital Markets Limited, a provider of a web Trading Platform for forex trading. At the company, he worked from April 2010 until October 2012 as a Forex Dealer.
Flangofas attended the Athens University of Economics and Business where he studied the various aspects of Economics. He also received a Masters of Science for Business Economics, Finance, and Banking from the University of Portsmouth. He speaks both English and Greek.
