Fred Scala, a well-known executive in the forex trading industry, has joined brokerage Direct Trading Technologies as a Managing Director and is in charge of business-to-business (B2B ) sales.

Direct Trading Technologies offers online brokerage services, including trading with currencies, contracts for differences (CFDs), and commodities trading. It operates globally with licenses from regulators in the United Kingdom, Lithuania, the United Arab Emirates, Panama, and Vanuatu.

In addition, it offers FX and crypto white-label solutions, institutional liquidity streams and a CRM solution, and Scala will be in charge of the sales of these B2B products.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Managing Director at Direct Trading Technologies LTD in charge of B2B sales. We have FX and Crypto White Label Solutions, Institutional Liquidity Streams, and a best in class CRM solution,” he wrote in a Linkedin post.

An Experienced FX Executive

The hiring of an experienced executive like Scala is going to boost the B2B sales efforts of the company. He brings around 37 years of experience from the forex trading industry to the new role.

Before joining Direct Trading Technologies, Scala spent more than ten years as the Vice President of Forexware. On top of that, he was a Vice President at FXCM, now owned by Jefferies Financial Group, for five years.

According to his Linkedin profile, he started his career in 1985 at forex trading. Furthermore, he oversaw FX trading activities at Unibank, JP Morgan Chase, and SEB as the Vice President of FX in separate tenures at these companies.
