An FX Industry Veteran
Hossain-Nelson is a well-known figure in the forex/CFDs trading industry and has almost three decades of experience. His most recent experience was at INFINOX Global as the Head Of Institutional Sales for eFX and CFDs, the same role he took with Alchemy Prime. He joined the London offices of INFINOX in April 2021 and separated after more than a couple of years.
Before INFINOX, he spent about three years at Global Market Index Limited. He joined that company as the Global Head of Institutional Sales for eFX and CFDs and was later promoted to Executive Director (SMF3) and Head of eFX and CFDs Client Relations, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He also performed the majority of his career at FXCM, one of the top brands in the retail FX/CFDs brokerage industry. In his first tenure with the broker, between October 2018 and February 2011, he held the position of Vice President and Head of Retail Sales. He joined the London offices of the brokerage again in February 2013 as the Vice president for Institutional Sales and was later promoted to the Head of Institutional Partnerships. He was with FXCM when the Swiss franc flash crash almost took the brand out of business.
In between the two tenures at FXCM, he launched and ran a recruitment firm, specializing in placing Sales staff within the FX, Spread Betting, and CFDs industry. He started his career at Nat West Stockbrokers as a Dealer in 1994 and then moved to Selftrade as an Associate Director. He also served as the Head of CFD Sales at Blue Index, a now-closed advisory CFDs firm for retail investors.
