FXPRIMUS Strengthens LATAM Personnel with New Hire in Uruguay

FXPRIMUS is making a broader push into newer markets, culminating in a new hire in Latin America (LATAM). Zeeb Medina will be installed as FXPRIMUS’s newest Business Development Manager, who will be based out of Uruguay Finance Magnates has learned.

Medina steps into his new role as Business Development Manager with immediate effect. He will help solidify FXPRIMUS’s operations in the LATAM region as well, bringing several years of expertise in the FX space to the role.

He has been in the FX industry for almost five years now, focusing exclusively on the LATAM region. LATAM has been one of the most enigmatic markets in recent years, with high barriers to entry and other challenges for brokers. Still, the region has a strong potential client base, large degrees of wealth, and very attractive growth margins.

Prior to joining FXPRIMUS this April, Mr. Medina worked at OctaFX for a year in its Business Development. In this capacity he focused on the LATAM region, helping pave the way for his most recent appointment at FXPRIMUS. Additionally, he has held other positions at City Credit Capital as its Business Development Manager in São Paulo, Brazil.

He has also worked at IronFX in multiple FX-oriented roles dating back to 2013. This includes stints as a Senior Account Manager and Account Manager in Uruguay, focusing on the LATAM region, per information made public on his Linkedin profile.
