FxSpotStream announced that it has onboarded Caryn Kim as its new Business Development Manager, effective immediately.

Recently announced in a press release, Kim, a professional with experience in institutional Banking leadership and management, has been named by FxSpotStream, the aggregator service of LiquidityMatch, as its new Business Development Manager to help enable the launch of several new initiatives next year.

Kim brings diverse financial experience to the role along with a wealth of knowledge from various banks. Further, her experience includes onboarding and relationship management where she coordinated teams in those areas. Her role will include working closely beside the CTO and Product Team.

A Look Back at Kim’s Employment

Before this appointment, Kim served as Vice President and Head of Onboarding at XP Investments. Over a two year period, she performed the requirements of the role. This covered the Americas and offshore markets in the UK and in Asia.

In October 2017, Deutsche Bank recruited her as its Client Onboarding Manager. Located in Wall Street, she led her team forth and specialised in global market loans, client onboarding and many other requirements of the role.

Previous to Deutsche Bank, Kim spent five and a half years at HSBC in its Hedge Fund sector. Initially, in June 2012, she started as Assistant Vice President and Hedge Fund Sector Client Associate Manager. Her success in this role led to her receiving additional responsibilities. As a result, this incorporated the role of Senior Associate of the Hedge Funds Sector Team - Client Management Group.

Earlier to HSBC, Barclays Investment Bank recruited her as its Client Onboarding Relationship Manager in Fixed Income. This included her directing and deploying the onboarding process development for the Fixed-Income product coverage model within capital markets.

Prior to Barclays, at HSBC Global Banking and Markets Kim spent a year as its TCG – Relationship Management Analyst.

Additionally, she was a Client Onboarding Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Further, Bear Stearns & Co utilised her prowess as a Credit Analyst for two years working in the Hedge Fund Credit Team. While her first role began as an SMA New Accounts Administrator for Lord Abbett & Co back in mid-2004.

FXSpotStream Continue to Grow on All Fronts

Kim has spent most of her career focusing on client servicing, sales planning, product specialization in Hedge Funds, Fixed Income products and operations management. Recently, she led the onboarding team with XP Investments. This included covering FX, Equity Derivatives and Futures in LATAM, Asia, Europe and the US.
