Cyprus-based ForexTime (FXTM), an online FX brokerage with operations on the island nation since 2012, has elevated George Kyriakoudes to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), according to an updated profile description on LinkedIn, Finance Magnates reports.

Having initially joined the company in March 2013, Mr. Kyriakoudes had a series of promotions, from his first position with FXTM as Senior Internal Auditor to Head of Internal Audit and Reporting, and then as Head of Risk Management and Reporting, before his latest promotion as CFO - which began June 2016.

Before joining FXTM, Mr. Kyriakoudes worked for Alpari for a nine-month period starting in 2012, and held prior roles with Deloitte as an assistant manager for nearly two years, and was previously a senior associate in the Audit department for PwC in London for nearly four years at the start of his career in finance in September 2006.

According to details described in a LinkedIn profile attributed to Mr. Kyriakoudes, he qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in West London, and stayed on for one year after that milestone, before deciding to return to Cyprus to join Deloitte.

He first embarked within the FX industry by joining Alpari as part of its Global Internal Audit team, and worked on projects for the company’s global operations at the time, with regard to financial, operational, and compliance audits, before joining ForexTime. Mr. Kyriakoudes is multi-lingual, fluent in English, and a native Greek and Serbian speaker.
