The German CFDs industry association, or CFD Verband, has lured IG Group’s long-serving executive, Nazli Visne to join its board members.
Representing the vast majority of CFD and FX providers (German and international), CFD Verband aims to provide a secure trading environment that operates within global and BaFin standards and regulations. With the addition of Visne, the association is expanding the board team which is currently headed by Niklas Helmreich from flatex and Mario Furlan from Société Générale.
Nazli Visne has been recently promoted to take on the role of IG’s Operations Head in the Netherlands. She is a mainstay at the UK broker, having originally joined IG back in 2010 as a Marketing Manager.
During her long stint at the UK spread better, she worked her way up through several senior roles with the firm, culminating with the position of Deputy Head of IG Germany. Visne maintains its current role as Deputy Branch Head with line management of sales teams and commercial responsibility.
Prior to IG, Visne, a Turkish national, had spent years working for leading brands outside the financial services space, including Siemens, Adidas, among many others.
Support in the Area of Regulation and Politics
Commenting on her role as a board member of CFD Association, Visne said: "I am very much looking forward to my role on the association's board of directors, especially to support it in the area of regulation and politics. Because CFDs have continuously increased in popularity among German investors in recent years, a good Exchange with decision-makers in politics is extremely important in order to create an environment together in which the undisputed advantages of CFDs, when used to build up wealth, are maintained."
The CFD Association’s member roster currently includes Société Générale, flatex Bank, IG Europe, FXFlat Wertpapierhandelsbank, SBroker, ViTrade, Consorsbank, WH Selfinvest and GBE brokers, as well as Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft and the Association of Technical Analysts in Germany (VTAD).
