Yesterday, Gill Chapman announced that she has left IG, an online financial trading services provider. She served at IG for approximately two years as Head of Talent.

In her extensive career of nearly 20 years, Chapman worked with some of the leading names in the UK’s corporate sector, including Viacom, Tesco and T-Mobile UK. During her time at IG, Chapman worked closely with the senior management of the company to help IG expand its HR functions.

“It’s my last official day at IG and it’s been a fun-filled and jam-packed two years. Feeling like you belong and fit somewhere is so important, and I feel so privileged to have experienced this in such a short time. I have had a great team, been part of a very special HR function and also been lucky enough to make friends with some brilliant people,” Chapman said in a recent post.

In January 2022, IG Group announced the promotion of Nicos Demetriades as the Head of Cyprus to expand the company’s operations in the region.

Appointments

In the past 12 months, IG Group onboarded several leading names in the financial services industry to facilitate its growth strategy. Katherine Whitton, who joined IG as Global Chief Marketing Officer last year, wished Chapman good luck for her next adventure.

“Thank you for your help in the last two years, hope you get some rest, and good luck with your bright days ahead,” Tomoharu Furuichi, the Head of Japan at IG Group, commented.

Earlier this year, IG Group announced the appointment of Barbara Duffy as the company’s new Chief People Officer.
