GKFX, a foreign Exchange (FX) and contracts-for-difference (CFD) broker, has secured the services of David Lindsay as its newest Chief Analytics Officer, according to information made public on his LinkedIn profile.
In his new role as the Chief Analytics Officer, Mr. Lindsay will be tasked with the oversight of the brokerโs operations and capabilities in terms of big data and other metrics. He will be based out of London, whose appointment is tendered with immediate effect.
Mr. Lindsay joins GKFX from Quant Bee Ltd, a boutique software development and consultancy firm founded by him, utilizing a suite of solutions such as automated models and machine learning techniques. Prior to Quant, Mr. Lindsay held a number of roles in the FX space, namely at Alpari UK, where he worked as its Head of Quantitative Strategies and Analytics and Head of Global Reporting Unit.
Additionally, Mr. Lindsay has worked in several other positions at financial institutions such as Credit Suisse and other analyst level positions dating back to 2005.
Last month, GKFX made headlines after it procured a sponsorship deal with Italian football club, AC Milan. The brokerโs three-year deal with AC Milan was the latest football partnership in an industry that has been venturing deeper and deeper into the sport of football in a bid to promote its product and market exposure in Europe.
