GKFX has lost the services of Jacob Plattner, one of the group’s managing directors, who parted ways with the broker after a stint of nearly one year, Finance Magnates has learned.

Mr. Plattner originally secured the services of the former Alpari UK executive back in May 2015, having spent time in the foreign Exchange (FX) industry at a number of leading venues, as GKFX confirmed the departure to Finance Magnates.

Decorated Career

During his time at GKFX as a managing director, Mr. Plattner was based out of London – prior to joining the group, he worked at Alpari UK and US, serving in a number of executive positions. These include, among others, positions as its Vice President of Institutional Sales and Head of Alpari Boston (Alpari US), as well as the Chief Operating Officer (Alpari UK).

Additional stops also include Capital Market Services and IFX Markets, specializing in sales roles dating back to 2006, according to his Linkedin profile. It is currently unknown where his next destination is following the departure. Finance Magnates reached out to Mr. Plattner who was unavailable for additional comment.

By extension, Joe Rundle has joined GKFX with immediate effect, who will be succeeding Mr. Plattner. He lands at GKFX from ETX Capital, having worked as its Head of Trading and Partnerships for a period of nearly six years.
