GKFX Taps Another Ex-Alpari UK Talent, James Hughes, as Chief Market Analyst

GKFX, a London-headquartered foreign Exchange (FX) and contracts-for-difference (CFD) global brokerage regulated in the UK, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, and other markets, has hired the former Alpari UK Chief Market Analyst, James Hughes, as its new Chief Market Analyst. Back in June GKFX secured the services of another former Alpari UK executive, Jacob Plattner, who joined the firm as its Managing Director.

Before joining GKFX in December 2015 Hughes served in the same role of Chief Market Analyst at eToro for ten months which he joined after the collapse of Alpari UK last January. In an interview with Finance Magnates Hughes shared his perspective on the number of personnel developments at eToro, along with the firm’s social capabilities. Prior to his role at Alpari UK, Hughes worked for over nine years at CMC Markets, starting as a Back Office Supervisor, later becoming a CFD Dealer and ending as Senior Market Analyst.

Commenting on his new position today Hughes says: "I am really happy to have joined GKFX, a company that has shown strong growth over the last few years. The company offers me a great opportunity to expand my role and offer my expertise in other areas of the business. Of course my main role will be as chief analyst helping to push the GKFX name in the global media as well as servicing GKFX clients with seminars webinars videos and commentary through the GKFX Market Insights website."

Back in July 2015, GKFX made headlines after it procured a sponsorship deal with Italian football club, AC Milan. The broker’s three-year deal with AC Milan was the latest football partnership in an increasing industry trend for brokers. GKFX aims to promote its product and increase its market exposure in Europe.
