Gold-i, a trading systems integration specialist for the financial services industry, has augmented its support team with two new senior appointments, according to a Gold-i statement.
The new group of appointees include Ian Bunn and Chris James. Mr. Bunn joins Gold-i as its newest Head of Support – he previously worked in a multitude of support roles for over 25 years. He will lean on his history of leadership experience while at Gold-i, where he will be heading a team of six individuals.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to work at Gold-i because of the innovative products and the fast paced environment. My experience in managing an international support desk will be invaluable in my new role,” noted Mr. Bunn in a statement on the appointment.
Alternatively, Chris James has been promoted to Head of QA at Gold-i, just two years after joining the company as a QA Analyst.
According to Tom Higgins, CEO, Gold-i in an accompanying statement on the appointments, “I am pleased to welcome Ian to the team and am confident that we have the right skills within the business to maintain our high standards and excellent service levels as we continue to grow. Chris James has proved to be exceptional in QA and thoroughly deserves his promotion.”
Last month, Gold-i partnered with Thomson Reuters to launch a new Rate Feed adapter for Thomson Reuters Elektron aimed at B-Book brokers. The partnership allows Gold-i clients to link Thomson Reuters’ streaming pricing for currency pairs directly into their MetaTrader4 platforms.
