George Stylianou has joined financial matchmaking platform, Blackmoon Financial Group as the Chief Commercial Officer. According to his LinkedIn profile, he joins the company from ATFX Global Markets, where he worked for more than three years.
Based in Cyprus, Stylianou joins Blackmoon with extensive experience. He has 17 years of experience in Executive Directorship and C-Level Positions in Marketing, Sales and Branding roles. Of those 17 years, 12 have been in the Forex industry.

Most recently, Stylianou was the CEO and co-founder of ATFX Global Markets (previously Positiva Markets). The company is a retail forex broker licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. It was established in late 2014.
At the broker, Stylianou was responsible for a variety of tasks, including designing and overlooking the company’s startup process. He also overlooked ATFX’s Risk Management , budget considerations, regulation, business conduct, global marketing strategy and much more.
Before his position at ATFX, Stylianou was the Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer at ForexTime Ltd, an international forex broker. During his time here as an Executive Director, he participated in the highest level of the decision-making process in all business matters.
On his LinkedIn, Stylianou lists some of his main achievements at ForexTime as: created the company’s entire brand, formulated the company’s global marketing and sales strategy, set and monitored Marketing and Sales KPI’s and successfully created a global brand in 18 months.
During his career, Stylianou has also worked as the Head of Marketing for the Alpari Group, Global Websites Manager for FxPro Financial Services and Brand Manager for easyMarkets.
The Blackmoon Platform
Blackmoon provides institutional investors direct access to assets originated by balance sheet lenders. The company operates in the alternative finance industry. In March this year, the company officially launched its blockchain-based platform, the Blackmoon Platform, for tokenized vehicles, which enables approved investment managers to create a fund based on Ethereum technology. For verified investors, the platform allows them to purchase different types of asset tokens that vary in characteristics and returns.
