Henry Durrant has assumed his role as an Assistant Vice President at FXSpotStream LLC, which provides a multi-bank foreign exchange (forex) streaming aggregation and matching service, Finance Magnates has learned.
The move was made public via his LinkedIn profile, which states that he joined the company this month. According to a report from Profit & Loss, he joined the company on Tuesday, October 1 and is working in a sales position.
In his new role, Durrant is based in London. According to the news outlet, as the AVP, he will report to Anthony Brocksom, who is the head of sales and new business at FXSpotStream.
Henry Durrant joins FXSpotStream from 360TGTX
Before he was FXSpotStream, Durrant was working at 360TGTX. During the more than one and a half years that we worked with the firm, he was employed in e-FX Liquidity management. He joined the firm when Deutsche Börse purchased Gain GTX ECN.
Durrant has been working in the Forex industry for at least seven years. Back in December of 2012, he joined Thomson Reuters as a relationship manager, where he worked in the company’s UK operations.
According to his LinkedIn, as the relationship manager, he was responsible for growing and retaining the existing FXall business across the UK and Scandinavia. His client focus was on Hedge Funds and Real Money customers.
In December of 2014, Durrant started working in FX Transaction Sales with a focus on Hedge Funds. This was a new business role, which saw him focus on selling the FXall product into Hedge Funds, his LinkedIn states.
During his career, Durrant has also been a Senior Associate of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group’s (MUFG) e-FX desk for almost three years. From here, he moved on to work for Deutsche Börse.
Alongside his experience in the FX industry, Durrant also holds a Bachelor of Science, in the field of Business and Management, with which he graduated in 2011 from the University of East Anglia.
