HSBC has added foreign Exchange (FX) specialist Brent Donnelly, who joins the lender from Citi to become an FX spot trader in the latest move for the group, according to an FX Week report.

In his new role at HSBC, Mr. Donnelly will be working as an FX spot trader, reporting to Peter Little, its Head of G10 Trading. He has been at Citi for over three years, working as its Chief Dealer and G10 FX trader since 2014.

Prior to this role, he also worked at Nomura as its Head of FX Trading in NY – this included positions as its Global Head of G10 Spot FX Trading and Co-Head of NY FX Trading. Additional stops also include Graham Capital Management and Lehman Brothers, part of a career in FX extending back to 2006, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
