HSBC Commercial Banking, a United Kingdom-based division of HSBC Holdings Plc, has announced the two new senior executives who are joining the company. The newly appointed managing team members are Jane Galvin and Ian Tandy.

The London Summit 2017 is coming, get involved!

At HSBC UK Jane Galvin will act as Head of Corporate Banking, while Ian Tandy will be Head of Global Trade and Receivables Finance. Galvin previously worked at Barclays corporate banking, where she held the position of Managing Director. Tandy has been with HSBC since 2008.

Galvin was with Barclays between September 2006 and May 2017. She held several directoral and management positions over the years. She studied at Cranfield University’s School of Management.

Tandy has worked as Co-Head Corporate Banking in the London region since November 2014. He also filled different management positions in his eight years with HSBC.

A week ago, Finance Magnates covered HSBC’s announcement regarding the development of its robo-advisor service. The automated algorithm, once up and running, will offer finance oriented advice based on each client’s individual financial situation. Another significant advantage of the algorithm is that wealth management will be made available to customers with relatively small investment accounts.

Finance Magnates further reported the ECU Group’s demand that HSBC disclose the internal records relevant to three significant Forex orders executed back in 2006.
