After working for over four years at the company, Deborah Finlayson has announced her resignation from IG Group, a retail forex and CFD broker. According to a post made on her LinkedIn profile, Finlayson puts an end to her tenure as Head of Global Service Centres, Workplace and Culture.

Prior to that role, Finlayson worked for IG Group as the Head of Talent and Organizational Development for around three years. “Next week, I will leave IG after 5 fabulous years. I have been lucky to have so many opportunities and experiences that have challenged me to be a better leader, collaborator and to develop a broader business perspective. Thank you to my leaders, Jon Noble and Michelle Eardley for being supportive and challenging in equal measure. A career highlight will always be working on purpose, values and culture over the last 5 years,” she commented.

Finlayson added that she would take a ‘short break’ before deciding her next step into her career in the human resources field. “I would like to mention our hugely committed and growing team in IG Global Services Centres and my leadership team, Tomasz Horaček, Suhail Akhtar, Aphindile AB Bokleni and Carmel Sargent, who have helped me learn so much about Global Operations and Workplace over the last few years,” the former IG Group’s Head of Global Service Centres, Workplace and Culture pointed out.
