BNY Mellon Recent Hires

Recently, BNY Mellon has been actively adding more personnel to its FX team. Back in July last year the company added Harry Moumdjian as Global Head of FX Sales.

In an interview with Finance Magnates, he shared that the company is focusing on growing the number of its products.

Last year, BNY Mellon also hired Jonathan Lee to its Singapore-based FX sales team. He joined in October after leaving Standard Chartered.

In the meantime, the company's Head of Spot FX for North America, Robert Sabia, left the firm after 14 years.

BNY Mellon FX Business

The foreign exchange business of BNY Mellon is led by its Custody FX programs. The New York-headquartered bank also offers direct dealing via its FX Desk and eCommerce platforms.

The company has a presence in Currency Administration, FX Payments , spot FX, forwards, Swaps and non-deliverable forwards (NDFs).

At a time of growing trade tensions, the rising FX risks are certain to continue driving major market players to attract more talent to its FX desks.
