Plans for New Product Launches and the Expansion of Altshuler Shaham Horizons’ Digital Asset Offerings

In the LinkedIn post announcing the new position at Altshuler Shaham Horizon, Sterk said that he would be working to grow the company’s “Digital Asset business line.”

Sterk told Finance Magnates that as an “industry veteran in the digital asset market,” the plans to focus on growing Altshuler by “substantially growing the customer base, introducing digital assets offerings to the retail public and to institutional investors in Israel.”

In doing this, Sterk believes that the adoption of the service will expand to “a much larger group than the [pool of] select investors in this field today.”

“We plan to launch new products and innovations to expand the company offering for more functionality which should appeal to the public,” he said.

Sterk believes that there is a major need for these kinds of services because of difficulties that traders in the Israeli market currently face: “the purchase of digital assets in Israel is a complex process, and in many cases not safe and so not accessible to many customers,” he told Finance Magnates.

“Altshuler Shaham is a leading Israeli investment house and using Horizon’s services provides a simple one-stop-shop solution to purchasing digital assets,” he explained. “In addition, Horizon works with regulated solution providers and is a fully-regulated provider in Israel.”

“In Altshuler Shaham, I see the potential of future solutions forging together investments, payment solutions, digital assets as well as currencies,” he added.
