Lochlan White Becomes Chief Commercial Officer EMEA at Invast Global
Invast Global, a multi-asset prime brokerage, has confirmed that the company promoted Lochlan White to the role of Chief Commercial Officer for the EMEA territory. As part of his duties, White will facilitate Invast Global’s rapid expansion.
Over the last eight years, White has been working for Invast Global. He has extensive knowledge of the financial services industry. In his previous role at Invast Global, he worked as the Head of Prime Services, EMEA.

CFI Financial Group Hires Chirine Daoud as Its New Marketing Director
Recently, Finance Magnates learned that Chirine Daoud has moved from Pepperstone to CFI Financial Group to be named as its Marketing Director. Earlier, she served the broker as its Regional Marketing Manager covering the MENA region for more than three years.
Daoud was recruited by One Financial Markets at the end of 2010 as the Regional Marketing Manager. Prior to that, she was the Marketing Manager at Alpari UK. Also, she took on the responsibilities as the Head of Marketing at Advanced Currency Markets, in Dubai, and before that she held the position of Marketing Consultant at Henyep Investment Bank.

ASX Picks Helen Lofthouse as Managing Director and CEO
ASX Limited announced that it appointed Helen Lofthouse as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Lofthouse brings more than twenty years of financial markets experience to the firm.
Previously, she served some of the leading names in the financial services sector, including UBS and JPMorgan. Lofthouse was hired by ASX in September 2015 and was appointed as a member of the executive leadership team. In a recent press release, ASX stated that Lofthouse's extensive experience will play a major role in its expansion.
She will replace Dominic Stevens, who will stay on as the Chief Executive Officer until 31 July 2022. To enable a smooth transition, Stevens will be available for assistance until 30 September, according to ASX.

BUX Hires Former ABN Executive Niek van Rens as COO
BUX announced its decision to hire Niek van Rens as the new Chief Operating Officer, thus strengthening its leadership team.
Over the last few months, the Amsterdam-headquartered company has made several critical appointments including this one. The firm onboarded Alvaro Vidal as the Country Manager in Spain, which followed the appointment of Dan Zbijowski as its Chief Marketing Officer.
Moreover, BUX enhanced its European presence by acquiring a Cypriot license earlier this year along with hiring Jean-Raphael Nahas as the Managing Director of the CFDs operations through the Cypriot entity.
This appointment of van Rens is considered strategic as he brings substantial knowledge and expertise to boost its European operations and contribute to additional growth.

Richard Lloyd Succeeds Charles Randell, Becomes Interim Chair of FCA
The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed Richard Lloyd as the financial market watchdog’s new Interim Chair. He has taken over the role from Charles Randell, who stepped down from the pinnacle position on Tuesday.
The appointment does not come as a surprise as the regulator had already confirmed this action in early February.
He will take on the challenge of driving the activities of the financial market regulator until a permanent replacement becomes available. The regulator is already in the process of recruiting a permanent Chair.

Tools for Brokers Names Lola Negmatova as Global Head of Partnerships
Tools for Brokers, a leading provider of technologies in the financial services industry, announced that it has elevated Lola Negmatova to the post of Global Head of Partnerships. In her new function, Negmatova will play an integral part in the company’s expansion.
With the designation of Negmatova, Tools for Brokers is planning to improve its partnership network across different locations around the world. The newly appointed Global Head of Partnerships has been serving Tools for Brokers since 2016.
Over the past three years, Negmatova has been employed by the technology provider as a Senior Sales Executive in the Cyprus Office. Her primary focus was to acquire new clients and strengthen relationships with partners.

Joanna Moberly Joins Saxo Markets UK as New Head of Legal
Saxo Bank announced earlier in the week that it has selected Joanna Moberly, a former Senior Lawyer in the Commercial Banking Team of Lloyds, as its new Head of Legal and Company Secretary for the financial firm.
Moberly has a diverse scope of experience in financial services law. In addition to her time at Lloyds Banking Group, the new Head of Legal previously worked at Barclays. Although, she originally started her career at the global law firm, Dentons LLP.
In her new post, based in London, Moberly will report to Charles White-Thomson, the Chief Executive Officer of Saxo Markets UK.
