on Monday, Invast Global, a Sydney-headquartered brokerage group, announced the appointment of Andrew Bradshaw as the Head of Prime Services. He is based in Sydney, Australia and has already taken up the role.
Bradshaw is one of the many key additions of the broker to its prime services team. In addition, it recently onboarded Cyrus Poon as the Managing Director of Prime Services, along with Matt Harris and Harry Fry as Directors.
In his new role, Bradshaw will oversee strategic projects across Invast’s Prime Services. His focus will be on servicing the company’s Hedge Fund and Family office clients.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my strong understanding of the APAC Hedge Fund and Family Office industry to Invast Global,” Bradshaw said in a statement. “We have a unique opportunity to become the alternative Prime nurturing funds and offices that larger Primes have neglected.”
Continuing a Strong Career Path
Bradshaw joined Invast from AMP Capital, where he spent two-and-a-half years. There, he was a part of the company’s margin and collateral team and oversaw SME strategic projects.
He brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the role at Invast. Moreover, he worked for Omniex Holdings, Global Investment Strategy FS, and Edgefolio.
On top of that, he brings a fair share of experience from the global financial giants as well. He started his career at Deutsche Bank, according to his Linkedin profile, and spent years at the Asian offices of Merrill Lynch, Barclays and Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking in executive roles.
Invast Global’s CEO, Gavin White said: “Andrew has been at the forefront of the APAC Hedge Fund and wealth management landscape over the past two decades. He has a deep understanding of how the APAC region has evolved through this period. We are thoroughly looking forward to seeing how Andrew will leverage his insights and experience.”
