Australia-headquartered Invast Global announced on Monday the appointment of Harry Fry as the company’s Director of Prime services. He is the second recent hire of the broker to its prime services team: it onboarded Matt Harris in the same role.

“He is a crucial hire to ensure we can continue to deliver our high-touch bespoke service to our valued clients and deliver on our strategic vision to be the Number one Prime of Prime and our clients' first choice as a liquidity partner,” said Invast Global’s CEO, Gavin White.

Fry joins Invast Global from London-based Finalto. There, he spent almost five and half years and worked in its institutional sales team.
In the press release shared with Finance Magnates, Invast highlighted Fry’s strong experience in client-facing and analytical roles.

He started his career in the financial services industry in mid-2014 at London-based Selftrade as a Client Accounts Administrator. Later, he joined JPMorgan and parted with the bank as an Oversight Analyst after a year and a half.

“My previous roles have always been client servicing, from technical and trade support to account management and business development. The support roles helped me understand the business from all aspects, especially when it came to back office solutions and platforms. I brought this knowledge to my Business Development role, providing a great advantage when selling and assisting clients,” Fry said in a statement.

Strengthening the Team

Invast has made a few key hires recently to bolster its presence in the market. Apart from Fry and Harris, the company onboarded Melissa Downes last February as the new Global Head of Marketing.

Fry added: “I’m looking forward to having exposure to the APAC market. The market continues to expand, and the growth will certainly bring opportunities with it… Although a lot of firms are still adjusting to the current economic environment, I have no doubt 2022 will be a successful year for Invast Global.”
