Jesper Rasmussen, Senior Director and Head of IT Client Data and Reporting at Saxo Bank, recently announced his intention to leave his position at the firm via his LinkedIn profile. This announcement comes just before the ten year mark of his employment at the broker.
London Summit 2017 is coming, get involved!
In his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Rasmussen wrote the following message, which is mainly directed at his former colleagues and employees:
“As many of you already know, it has after almost 10 years become end of line for me in Saxo Bank. It has been a pleasure, and I have enjoyed the time with all the great colleagues in every corner of both business and IT, and have truly appreciated working with many of the best guys in the industry.
From day one, this has been an amazing journey, and I am very proud of the many achievements both tech wise and the work done in getting teams in Copenhagen and India to work together efficiently (keep up the good work guys - that's very important!)
For sure I’ll miss you all of you, but it's time to move on and pursue new challenges and I'm pretty sure, this will be equally exciting and challenging. Thanks for now.”
Mr. Rasmussen has filled a variety of IT related roles since he started working for the Danish broker back in June 2007 as a senior developer. He served as Data Warehouse Team Leader between 2010-2012, later moving on to becoming Head of IT Enterprise Systems and Assistant Vice President in 2012-2014. In October 2014, he became the Director and Head of IT Client Data and Reporting, finally becoming the senior director of the department in July 2016.
