Johan Rudén Joins Lumera as COO

Lumera, a leading European fintech firm, recently confirmed the appointment of Johan Rudén, the former Senior Project Manager at Ericsson, as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new position, Rudén will play an integral role in the company’s growth.

During his broad professional career of more than 30 years, Rudén worked with some prominent global firms. He spent approximately 16 years at Nasdaq. On top of that, he held different senior-level positions at Folksam.

“We are really pleased to welcome Johan to Lumera. His leadership and drive to succeed make him a significant addition to our management team. I’m positive that Johan’s strategic vision and experience will prove valuable for energizing Lumera’s organization as well as for developing our offering,” says Mats Lillienberg, the CEO of Lumera.

According to the details shared by Lumera, Rudén’s deep expertise in industries like insurance, fintech, securities trading and clearing will facilitate the expansion of its operations. “He has successfully managed change in complex organizations, such as software development projects in an international, multicultural environment,” the company added in the press release.

Europe is one of the biggest fintech markets in the world. European financial technology startups have raised billions of dollars in the past few years despite challenging global economic conditions. Earlier this year, the European fintech startup, Bloom secured £300 million in its Series A round.
