JPMorgan Taps Majed al-Mesmari as Newest United Arab Emirates Head

JPMorgan Chase has announced the appointment of Majed al-Mesmari as its newest Head of Investment Banking Coverage in the United Arab Emirates, helping extend the bank’s influence in one of the world’s financial nexuses.

JPMorgan Chase has made a number of recent hires across its global operations, including the installment of a new FX head just last week. In his new role at JPMorgan, Mr. al-Mesmari will help steer the bank’s UAE business, which has seen further expansion in years past.

Mr. al-Mesmari will be reporting to Karim Tannir, JPMorgan's Head of Investment Banking for the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Mr. al-Mesmari worked as the Director of Global Financial Advisory Services at Rothschild.
