Katsuya Oe Joins Colt Technology Services as Vice President of Sales in Asia

In an official press release on 27 June, Colt Technology Services announced that it has appointed Katsuya Oe as the company’s new Vice President of Sales in Asia. Oe joins Colt from Veritas Technologies where he served as the Global Vice President.

According to the details shared by Colt, he will report to Andrew Edison. Oe, who will be based in the Tokyo office of Colt, will work closely with other members of the team to enhance the company’s presence in the Asia region.

With more than two decades of experience in sales, Oe is one of the well-known names in Japan’s corporate sector. He previously held different senior-level roles at IBM Japan and Dell EMC.

“This appointment highlights our continued commitment to the region and will support our continued growth in Asia. Katsuya joins Colt at a critical time for the company and brings a wealth of sales experience in the technology sector, which will be essential in delivering our strategy as we support our customers with advanced digital, software-defined and infrastructure solutions,” Colt’s Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, Andrew Edison, commented on Oe's appointment.

Colt highlighted its plan to accelerate customer and partner engagement in Asia. The company noted that Oe’s broad experience in sales will help its mission of developing strong client relationships in the region.

“This is a really exciting time for Colt, and I feel my experience will help me play a critical role in leading the company’s sales and go-to-market activities in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore to deliver increased sales, as well as improved customer and partner engagement in Asia,” Oe commented on his appointment.

Last month, Colt Technology Services and Equinix, a Nasdaq-listed digital infrastructure company, extended their collaboration to facilitate digital transformation in France.
