HSBC Holdings Plc has recruited Kevin Geiger as its newest vice president for sales and Marketing of structured products – he will be based out of New York in his new role following a number of roles in the region.

Mr. Geiger joins HSBC from JVB Financial Group LLC and Citigroup Inc. where he served in a number of leading executive-level roles. He will be succeeding Jeffrey Goldstein who departed HSBC for Royal Bank of Canada's (RBC) wealth management unit back in January.

In his new role, Mr. Geiger will be reporting to Todd Fruhbeis, head of wealth management sales for the Americas. He will be specializing in the North American region.
